Drillbuilders ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect when you use www.drillbuilders.com, why, and your rights.

2. What we collect and why

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. Who we share it with (Operators)
- Odoo — our website, CRM and email platform, hosted in South Africa.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — website usage statistics; analytics cookies load only after you consent via our cookie banner.
- Email/connectivity providers used to deliver your enquiry to our sales team.
These providers process data on our instructions and are bound to keep it secure. We may also disclose information where required by law.
4. Cross-border transfers
Our core data is hosted in South Africa. Where a provider processes limited, non-identifying data outside South Africa (e.g. Google Analytics), we rely on that provider's POPIA-adequate safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
- General enquiries (contact form): up to 24 months.
- Customer / order records: 5 years, in line with tax and legal record-keeping requirements.
We delete or anonymise data once it is no longer needed for these purposes.
6. Your rights under POPIA
You may, at any time: access the information we hold about you; correct or update it; object to processing or withdraw consent; request deletion where we have no legal reason to keep it; and complain to us or to the Information Regulator (South Africa).

7. Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable hosting. No method is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information.
8. Children
The site is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 18.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material changes will be posted on this page.

Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Analytics run on an opt-out basis: when you first visit we show a notice, and analytics cookies are set unless you click Decline. If you decline, Google Analytics is switched to a privacy-preserving mode that sets no analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data, and you can block cookies in your browser settings.
