The JCD600T is a robust full-hydraulic crawler core drilling rig for mineral exploration and
geological investigation. It cores in HTW, NTW and BTW wireline sizes to a maximum of 800 m —
the inner tube comes up on the wire, not on the rods, so you spend the shift cutting core
instead of tripping pipe.
More power where it counts. A 92 kW YUCHAI turbocharged diesel feeds a
20 MPa / 220 L/min hydraulic system, delivering 450–1 300 N·m at the head. With a 16-ton
pull-up and 8-ton push-down, it keeps cutting when the ground gets hard or the hole
gets deep. Prefer Cummins power? The engine can be changed to a Cummins diesel on
request — just ask when you enquire.
Tow it, drop the legs, drill. The JCD600T carries the exact same drilling package as the crawler JCD600 on a road-tow trailer chassis — hitch it behind a bakkie or truck, move between sites at road speed, and set up on the hydraulic outriggers in minutes. Same rig, lower cost, faster relocation on accessible sites.
Set up for deeper holes. The on-board BW-120 mud pump moves up to
120 L/min at 7 MPa for reliable flushing, and the rope hoist carries 700 m of wire for
wireline work at depth. Same transport footprint as the JCD400 — 4.2 m long, on a
drop-side truck.
