BQ CORE FROM 1 000 METRES. DRIVEN BY REMOTE, BUILT FOR THE MOUNTAIN.
The JCD800 is a crawler-mounted surface coring rig for serious exploration programmes.
It pulls BQ wireline core from 1 000 m, NQ from 800 m and HQ from 500 m — deep-hole
capability in a compact tracked package designed for narrow, steep access roads where
bigger rigs simply can't go.
Modern drive line. A Dongfeng Cummins QSB3.9 delivers 93 kW through a
28 MPa load-sensing hydraulic system with Danfoss pumps and motors. The side-slip power
head produces 2 500 N·m of torque and swings clear of the hole in seconds for fast core
retrieval — safer and quicker round trips.
Remote-control tracking. The operator walks the rig into position by
remote with pilot-controlled electro-hydraulics — nobody stands next to five and a half
tons of machine on a 30° slope. On the hole, a hydraulic chuck with nitrogen gas-spring
clamping gives long-term, fatigue-free grip on the rods.
Deep-hole support built in. The core-picking winch carries 850 m of wire
at 110 m/min, the HengYang Zhongdi BW160/10 pump delivers 160 L/min at 10 MPa for flushing
at depth, and the 3 200 mm chain feed keeps rod handling efficient. The lightweight
aluminium-alloy mast installs and strips quickly between holes.
Delivered drill-ready by Drillbuilders. We supply the JCD800 with
commissioning support and back it from our Mokopane workshop. One supplier, one phone call.
