CORE SAMPLES FROM 1 000 METRES DOWN. NO ACCESS ROAD REQUIRED.
The JW1000C is a crawler-mounted hydraulic core drilling rig built for mineral exploration
and geotechnical investigation. It pulls NQ core from 1 000 m, HQ from 700 m and PQ from 500 m
— with a dedicated wireline coring winch carrying 1 500 m of rope, so your inner tube comes up
on the wire, not on the rods. Fewer trips, more metres cored per shift.
Walks itself to the hole. Steel crawler tracks, 2.5 km/h travel and 0–25°
climbing ability put the rig on collars a truck can't reach — koppies, riverbeds, rehabilitated
dumps. Set up, level on the outriggers, and the 9 960 mm tower raises hydraulically to drill
anywhere from 45° to vertical.
Proven components, serviceable in Africa. Cummins 132 kW diesel, Rexroth
hydraulics and a 28 MPa main pump — brands your fitter already knows, with parts on the shelf.
Two-gear drive head delivers up to 3 530 N·m of torque or 1 060 rpm at the spindle.
Complete coring package available. We deliver the JW1000C ready to drill —
NQ wireline rods, double-tube core barrels, overshot, diamond bits and NW casing to open the
hole. One supplier, one warranty, one phone call.
